my search is about how to express a model of the whole universe in a comprehensive body of work. i explored the notion of the void, creating works that generate a multidimensional space and seem to destabilize our assumptions about the world and express dualities such as reality and illusion, solidity and intangibility, certainty and uncertainty…

this is going to be a huge post, but i can't help but post a gazillion pics of what i find to be some of the most amazing handcrafted furniture i've ever seen. palo samko is based in brooklyn, and that's about all i know, except to say that he has phenomenal woodworking skills! the designs and the attention to detail are just so, so beautiful ~ my jaw quite literally dropped with every click through the slideshow! enjoy! {via roadside scholar }
