rachel is a san francisco based artist who originally hails from the midwest. inspired by urban-life and the natural world she frequently works with paper, ink, pencil, acrylics, watercolors, thread, yarn and ephemera. her studio is always full of tiny scraps of paper, random spools of thread, stacks of drawings, and balls of yarn. her collages somehow emerge out of this chaos.
