nau is back with a fabulous fall eco-sportswear line! earlier in the year the company announced plans to close, but a dedicated team of former employees have partnered with horny toad activewear to rescue the brand. the fall collection is spot-on for attractive, basic active pieces. and, they've come back with an even greater commitment to sustainability in design, on every level - from materials sourcing to processes to shipping products. p.s. horny toad is awesome - go check it. if you have about 45 seconds, be sure and play the swing sky video. it's nice. {via inhabitat }

i am so loving this satellite necklace from antigenre . my mom has a large box - turquoise blue silk with cream, green and yellow flowers, lined with darker blue velvet - filled with my late grandmother's beautiful costume jewelry. mostly the pieces have been untouched, but there is a necklace that is very similar to this one that i once sneaked out to wear to an event many years ago. i have very fond memories of this (similar) necklace...i think i'll buy it. made of drilled brass, apricot candy jade, and oxidized silver chain.

beautiful collages by rachel t robertson . rachel is a san francisco based artist who originally hails from the midwest. inspired by urban-life and the natural world she frequently works with paper, ink, pencil, acrylics, watercolors, thread, yarn and ephemera. her studio is always full of tiny scraps of paper, random spools of thread, stacks of drawings, and balls of yarn. her collages somehow emerge out of this chaos. see more work here . visit her etsy shop here .
