daily paper fix: detour tokyo

artists to create art pieces of moleskines.

last week, detour had its 6th curated show
at the moma design store of tokyo.

50 notebooks are displayed.
this piece by oki sato of nendo is one of my favorites.

palo samko.

this is going to be a huge post, but i can't help but post a gazillion pics of what i find to be some of the most amazing handcrafted furniture i've ever seen. palo samko is based in brooklyn, and that's about all i know, except to say that he has phenomenal woodworking skills! the designs and the attention to detail are just so, so beautiful ~ my jaw quite literally dropped with every click through the slideshow! enjoy! {via roadside scholar }
