nikole herriott of the lovely blog forty-sixth at grace and her dad live quite far away from each other, and they stay connected by sending packages. for some time, nikole has received these strikingly beautiful handcrafted spoons from her dad, which she treasures. she eventually convinced him to also share the spoons with others, and together they now manage herriott grace, an online shop featuring her dad's beautiful, skillfully crafted spoons, for you and for me to purchase and enjoy. what a nice gift idea!

this is going to be a huge post, but i can't help but post a gazillion pics of what i find to be some of the most amazing handcrafted furniture i've ever seen. palo samko is based in brooklyn, and that's about all i know, except to say that he has phenomenal woodworking skills! the designs and the attention to detail are just so, so beautiful ~ my jaw quite literally dropped with every click through the slideshow! enjoy! {via roadside scholar }
