we are living in a world where water is becoming one of our most luxurious commodities. this precious substance, being responsible for all that flows since the entire evolution of the planet, is as indispensable as it is endangered. from a material researcher and designer approach, ‘omnipresent substance’ aims not only to challenge the viewer’s vision of this delicate substance but also to showcase inspirational images for further design concepts.

this is going to be a huge post, but i can't help but post a gazillion pics of what i find to be some of the most amazing handcrafted furniture i've ever seen. palo samko is based in brooklyn, and that's about all i know, except to say that he has phenomenal woodworking skills! the designs and the attention to detail are just so, so beautiful ~ my jaw quite literally dropped with every click through the slideshow! enjoy! {via roadside scholar }
