really, really love this...

wonderful design for the delivery of
aid packages to developing countries...
the cylindrical package is printed with a pattern
used to make balls of different sizes for play.





to the children in the third world who can’t enjoy football freely because of poverty, war and natural disaster: having a football can be a dream and hope to escape from their poor life...they play with balls made of plastic bags or coconut palm leaves...giving them their own footballs gives them hope and is our aim of this project.

this is going to be a huge post, but i can't help but post a gazillion pics of what i find to be some of the most amazing handcrafted furniture i've ever seen. palo samko is based in brooklyn, and that's about all i know, except to say that he has phenomenal woodworking skills! the designs and the attention to detail are just so, so beautiful ~ my jaw quite literally dropped with every click through the slideshow! enjoy! {via roadside scholar }
